Hi! My name is Chelsie Pallett and I am a student at Louisiana State University of Shreveport. I will be graduating in the Spring semester of 2007. I am a psychology major and after I graduate LSUS I would like to attend Louisiana Tech on Barksdale Airforce Base and get my masters degree and LCP license in counseling. Below I have created a small biography on myself. You can find out a little about my job, my family, my hobbies, and my boyfriend.                            

               My Job

I have worked at Delta Pathology Lab for 8 months.  My area of expertise is Cytology. I am a Cyto-prep technician.  My job is to make slides out of the specimen we receive from doctor's offices and  hospitals.  I mainly work with Pap smears and body fluids such as sputum (saliva), urine, pleural fluid (chest fluid), peritoneal fluid, and bronchial washings/brushings. These are all called Non-gyns, which means Non-gynecological specimen. I have posted pictures of me and my co-worker hard at work. I am actually working with a speciman under the hood along with my co-worker Rachel.                      

                  My Family

My family consists of five people including my mom, my dad, my twelve year old brother (going on 30), and my nineteen year old sister. We are very close and spend most of our time together on the weekends fishing, taking trips, and just hanging out.  My Dad works for Jack Cooper Transport. He is a welder/mechanic and works on the trucks that haul for General Motors.  My mom is a house cleaner.  She makes more $ than I do working forty hours (but Im still Thankful).  My sister works at Brookshires Grocery.  She is a cashier and a scanner. She hasn't made it to college but is doing well working at her own pace.  My brother just made it to middle school.  He is in the 6th grade and is loving it. We have recently started beating the girls off with sticks. Below are some Halloween pictures.  The picture to the left is of my dad and my mom. You might have guessed they were Dawg the Bounty Hunter and Beth, his wife.  The picture below is a picture of my little brother and my sister. You might be able to guess by looking at the sweater who my brother was supposed to be. 

                      

 

My Hobbies

I love animals!  Which is why I have some pictures of my zoo trips on my page.  It doesn't matter where my family goes or what we do I have to visit the zoo!! This past summer my boyfriend and I went to two different zoos.  The picture of us together was taken at the Fort Worth Zoo in Fort Worth, Texas.  The other pictures were taken at a small petting zoo located in Greenwood, Louisiana. I also love fishing.  We recently got a pontoon boat that we enjoy taking it out to the Red River on the weekends. I have caught Nine fish on one trip!

                                                    

 

                                                                 

I also like to go to country concerts.  Below is a picture of my most recent concert I attended.  I went to the  Rascal Flatts concert with Taylor Hicks and Gary Allen. We sat pretty close as you can see. 

               

 

My Boyfriend

I met C.J. about two years ago.  We have been dating since the day we met.  We have all the same likes and hobbies.  We both love to fish and love animals. This Thanksgiving we went down and picked out an engagement ring. But he hasn't asked yet so technically he is just still a boyfriend (keeping my fingers crossed).  The picture I posted is of him on his 21st birthday because the cake is pretty special.  C.J. loves gummy bears and for his birthday I had an Ice Cream cake made with gummy bears inside and out.  Before I gave it to him I added more gummy bears and decorated it to my likes.  Isn't it b-e-a-utiful!
